Walkabout

Had a vanity appointment today, and decided to go into the city early to see if I would be inspired by the sights and sounds. Took my Canon A495 instead of the Lumix FZ20. The cranes you see in the water are part of the rebuilding of CityCat (ferry) jettys after the flood we had earlier in the year. Just amazing that they got the man-made lagoon back to such pristine conditions in a short time. It's like the floods never happened. Until you look at areas that used to be bright green grassy patches, and see that they're still brown. The pics have only been resized downwards. No other touchups.
